What is Trezor Suite?
Trezor Suite is the official desktop application for interacting with Trezor hardware wallets. It provides an integrated experience for account management, transactions, portfolio overview, and signing operations — designed so your private keys never leave your device. The Suite prioritizes security, transparency, and control while keeping the interface approachable for beginners and powerful for experienced users.
Hardware-backed security
Private keys are generated and stored on the physical Trezor device. Signing happens offline; the Suite only communicates signed transactions and public information.
Multi-asset support
Manage Bitcoin, Ethereum, and a wide array of tokens and coins from one application with clear balance and transaction history per account.
Built-in exchange & swaps
Swap between supported assets without revealing private keys. Third-party swap partners are integrated into the Suite for convenience.
Privacy-first
No account creation is required to use the Suite — your device and local application state are sufficient. Optional connectivity features are opt-in only.
Quick start — 5 steps
- Download the Trezor Suite application for your operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux) and install it.
- Connect your Trezor hardware wallet and follow the on-screen setup to create or restore a wallet using your recovery seed.
- Set a strong PIN on your device and confirm your recovery seed is written down and stored safely offline.
- Add accounts inside the Suite to view balances and receive addresses. Use the "Receive" tab to generate addresses for each account.
- When sending, review transaction details on both the Suite and the device screen before confirming to ensure authenticity.
Frequently asked questions
Is Trezor Suite free to use?
Yes. The Suite itself is free software and its core functions do not require subscriptions. Network fees still apply for blockchain transactions.
Can I use multiple devices with one Suite installation?
Yes. The Suite can connect to multiple hardware wallets. Each device retains its own private keys and accounts; the Suite only stores non-sensitive metadata locally.
What if I lose my Trezor device?
If you lose your physical device, you can restore access using your recovery seed on a new compatible hardware wallet. Keep your seed phrase secure and never store it digitally.
